I was honoured to be asked by Jay Morgan Hyrons to take part in her new podcast series, Alternate Realities. Jay herself is a Falklands widow, a writer and inspirational speaker who has overcome incredible challenges in her own life. She is an inspiration in her own right. We covered a lot of common ground, mainly our experience of birth trauma and life with a stoma. I discussed in detail my traumatic birth but as always I also chatted with Jay about how I managed to overcome it to live the happy, active life I do now.
